The food is delicious and the service is very good. One of our favorite restaurants in the area.

I got the Special Dinner because it has a variety of the usual TexMex offerings (taco, enchilada, chile poblano, tamale, chalupa, rice and beans) so I could see if there was variety of flavors. Each item stood on its own. The enchilada (I chose cheese) and the tamale had the same mole sauce but the sauce complemented each without overwhelming. The chile poblano (relleno) is coated with whipped egg white and deep fried. Great taste and only slightly greasy, but in an expected way. Can’t go wrong with tacos. The only issue I had was that I like to pick up a chalupa to eat it and the tortilla fell apart when I tried to pick it up. It probably would have worked out if I had eaten it first. I’ll have to try some of their specialty dishes now that they easily passed the test of the basics.
